Creating Elegant Outdoor “Rooms”
The Brief
Create seating areas and garden “rooms” to bring the outdoor space to life. Renew three-seasons room to make a Spring-Fall comfortable, relaxing outdoor space using the blue and white with yellow accents color scheme of the house.

Painted three-season room yellow with white accents.
Added comfortable sectional couch and coffee table.
Indoor-outdoor blue and white striped curtains add height to the space and protect the furniture from rain when closed.
A recycled material rug adds glam to the space but is easily cleaned with a hose.
The slatted ceiling was replaced with drywall and an outdoor ceiling fan was installed.
The large patio was power washed and enlarged. Decorated with an outdoor dining set and an additional outdoor seating area it becomes a functional space for outdoor dining, hosting, and relaxing.
The garden area was completely overhauled with new bluestone pathways added and a fountain in the center.
Behind the garage/shed the space was cleared, a shade garden installed, and another seating area for quiet reflection.
Closer to the house on the other side of the garage, features another seating area with a marble bistro table from World Market and blue and white wicker chairs - perfect for breakfast, a quick coffee, or even outside work-from-home.
A second large patio was installed with another sectional couch and recycled material rug to tie the space together. Comfortable Adirondack chairs and a firepit make a cozy semi-circle for a cool night.
